Schoolgirl Report #3

The uncensored Schoolgirl Report #3 DVD.
Continuing with the Schoolgirl Report saga, we find our way through the third instalment known as Schoolgirl Report 3: What Parents Find Unthinkable.Ernst Hofbahuer returns as the movie director, only this time he's co-directing with Walter Boos. Part 3 is probably the most controversial film from the saga, which on the one hand could be interpreted as the European openmindness doing its thing, or on the other hand as a degenerate acted display  of sexual abuse we don't want to see anywhere in the world. However we do have to remember that these movies were never intended to be an educational effort for crowded audiences, so there are no consistent elements depicting the things we should and should not do. Besides, the interviews are kind of boring in the third instalment, they just feel too predictable, so you won't buy the "reality" fiction in display during the movie.

Blonde Teen Nipples.
a Teen tennis player.
Making out teens.
70's Teen Fashion.
The schoolgirl skirt classic.
The student/teacher fantasy returns.
A funny thing about this movie was that when Synapse Films finally got their hands on parts 1 to 8 of the Schoolgirl Report, they had censorship issues when releasing the Schoolgirl Report #3 DVD, so they had to edit the original 96 minutes version to 76 minutes, getting rid of the most polemic stories which I will be unveiling a few lines later, so in case you were wondering why everytime you search through Amazon you find your way with 2 different DVD covers is because the censored edition is still available in many online stores and real stores around the globe, while the uncut, uncensored edition is only available at online stores. If we look at the former Schoolgirl Report films, we can easily state they're naive & funny compared to today's standards while Schoolgirl Report #3 does come with some stories that we still find shocking in our today's standards.

The third of twelve films in the German Schulmadchen-Report continues the same kind of mood established by the original part 1 & 2, so if you've seen them before,  you already know what to expect as this series tries to pass itself off as an "educational movie" warning parents about what their teenagers might be doing in regards to various sexual situations involving not only teens this time, but involving a lot more shocking stories.

Perfect Teen ass riding some cock.
Teen titties.
Teen Bush.
Teen Pool Sex.
Teen Car Sex.
Teen Blondes Bedtime.
We get the typical stories of fantasy girls sneaking out to have sex, younger girls going after older men and even a Romeo and Juliet type story but the controversial were definitely the most talked about for years to come. The first of the big three has a girl getting gang raped in her school bathroom but the adults just won't believe her and instead they sort of lead her into prostitution.

The next story has a teenage girl catching her father in bed with another woman because her mother is ill and away in a hospital. Wanting to keep her father with her mother, the girl decides to start sleeping with her dad, yes, you read it right an incest story, though being acted, still you feel kinda creepy when watching it.

The third of these "bad" stories centers on a 15-year-old girl who sees her older sister having sex and it gets her interested so she sneaks into the shower with her 10-year-old cousin. OK, the first two stories probably won't bother you that much because you expect that sort of nastiness when it comes to exploitation, which this series is. If someone actually believes these are "learning" movies then I guess you will be shocked.

More Teen Sex.
"Lemme check your tits little girl"
"Don't worry Sr. Cum with me"
"Aren't you gonna fuck the little ol' me"
Father, Daughter, Lover & Boyfriend.
"I'm cumming in the woods baby"
The third story with the young kids, along with the gang bang & incest stories  that led publishers to censor the scenes from the international release on home DVD, and voila, they cut them good. However, considering this is a fictional movie, I don't think they had to cut the Gang Bang & Incest stories, which were acted by adult actors and actresses. The one that really gave me the creeps was the kids story because it's obvious both kids are underage I mean, come on! the boy hasn't even hit puberty! Seeing them to "playing around", even though there's never any real touching scene, is just too creepy to watch. Probably the kids were great actors, but still it's very shocking.

Despite the uncensored edition, you can still watch the international edition without the most schocking stories. Anyways, I still enjoyed the movie overall as we get sexy stories, stupid interviews with people off the street and countless other sexploitation scenes that come off fresh even in the third film. Next entry will be about part 4, and until some time soon the missing parts will eventually be reviewed once I watch them first.

As a pre-christmas gift the full movie is here in two parts:

Schoolgirl Report #2

Original Movie Poster.
Today we enter the follow up to the original Schulmädchen Report, which proved to be quite a profitable experience for the movie makers, so you got it! they decided to continue the saga with a twist of more intense sex scenes,  adding even some real sex scenes and developing a greater quality  storytelling style that would continue to spawn several sequels, 12 to be exact. The year is 1971, yeah 1 mere year after the original release, obviously success is a very elusive element in the world of the exploitation genre, so the filmakers decided to continue making movies while success was still oven fresh per se. Considering censors were very open minded at those times, Ernst Honbauer (the film's director) decided it was right to get a more hardcore approach in terms of the sex scenes. However to give the franchise a sense of continuity, Honbauer repeated some elements from the original movie, for instance the simulated peasants interview on the streets.

The student/teacher porn classic idea came from this German Flick.
"I have no clue about maths, but I do give some good head"
"Nice experiment teacher, now could you fuck me hard please?"
Having quite a lot of success, the first four parts of the saga added up 13 parts produced in Germany, making it one of the most successful film series in that country, and instantly turning it into one of the few movie sagas that lasted a whole decade! that's 1970 to 1980. The, then original idea of covering school girls secret sex life hidden from the faces of their parents, not only made money for the saga, because soon after the success of the first films an uncountable number of similar films were rushed into Germanys cinema, making it possible to take a look onto the unspoken truths in the sex lives of housewives, secretaries, teachers, and so on. Also the very first porn parodies were introduced as well. It would be fun to claim that, in essence that, each of these movies have a serious scientific approach  behind it; thinking that the Schuldmädchen-reports are intended to explore the social reality of the youth for reasons of preventing kids from danger is absolutely false. Although, the films were shot, organized and written to look like and actual documentary they are just sexploitation films that sort of wanted to look like as the exact oposite.

No wonder then, that this particular volume starts with a reporter interviewing different experts like policemen, sociologists and so on, all of which have a story to tell about degenerate teen sluts in school age. The movie it's divided into several cases, and to link one case with the others, interviews are used in between. The single episodes that each report consists of are great fun. For instance, the first "case" is about a good-looking, yet strict and conservative teacher by the name of Dr. Mallinger, whom three of his school girls, after making good use of sexual innuendos during an experiment in the physics class, lure into one girl's house. Expecting nothing else than a conversation with her father, Mallinger finds himself confronted with his naked student. "You have forced me into a disgusting trap", he utters, before laying her down on the sofa and taking her from behind (!) Needless to say that, while hidden in another room, the other girls watch closely and videotape the whole thing for further blackmailing their teacher into sexual services. Soon afterward, however, the class must learn that Mallinger couldn't take the pressure any longer and moved on into the heaviest coitus interruptus kind: Suicide!

I guess that's what school girls are all about in these days.Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on the point of the view, I for one, being an English teacher haven't found my way with this kind of schoolgirls, although some of them had their thing for being provocative, they weren't provocative for teachers only, they were provocative with everyone and everywhere, and I would define being provocative way more softer than the idea depicted in the film, so no sex, no nothing. Anyways I haven't heard in like ages of some teacher getting laid, because of his/her naughty students, nor I have heard of underage teenager being ok with having casual sex with adults just for fun,  so yeah,  the real world is way more calmed down. However, I've heard about adults abusing young girls and that's fucking disgusting and insane, they should be neutered and spayed. On the one hand reality bites, and on the other hand we have movies to satisfy some of the neverending list of human fantasies.

"Don't worry little girl, I'll fuck you gently"
"How do you like my new uniform teacher"
An original promo still.

Schoolgirl Report #2, "What Keeps Parents Awake at Night" not only features the student/teacher affair, it also comes packed with other sequences that are equally entertaining. From today's viewpoint, nudity is there but pornography is far far away, although there is one blowjob scene "performed" by two not so young looking actresses. The strangest element is the fact that the unintended comedy of the films wasn't already appreciated when they first hit the cinemas. It is impossible to watch a Schulmädchenreport today without being entertained greatly and laughing all the time. Very recommended also as a demonstration of the trash culture that swept over the European film scene in the 70s, creating both masterpieces and junk. The other stories or "reports" cover the story of young couples exploring each others bodies, how young should a girl start and various other topics. If you're actually looking for some sort of documentary on female sexuality then just walk right pass this one because the only reason for this film is the nudity. There's nothing hardcore here but the girls are constantly getting undressed and into various sexual situations.

"Guys we are here to fuck"
"Two heads are better than one"
"Do I look appealing to you?"
"This weenie's mine sis"
The film certainly comes off very campy today and that's one reason why I think it holds up quite well. The film starts to drag towards the end but if you don't mind a lot of nudity and don't take the film too seriously then it remains entertaining.

Here's the full movie for your viewing pleasure, the little problem is that the film is in its original German language, but it's very predictable.

Next entry will be about part 3 both the German & International Versions.

Schoogirl Report #1

The Cool DVD Cover.
Today we enter into the most important sexploitation saga Germany has ever produced to date. Schulmädchen Report,  AKA  Schoolgirl Report, a movie that would spawn nine interesting sequels. Filmed in 1970 this movie features everything you could have possibly wanted to see in a sexploitation film. However if compared to today's standards schoolgirls porn fantasy this movie would seem like a PG rated home video.

Schoolgirl Report #1 "What Parents Don't Think Is Possible" is a display of the immortal schoolgirl sexual fantasy every single man in this planet, so the story is mostly about a few teen schoolgirls who are of course misbehaving by having some dirty sinful sex. The actresses look like teens, some of the were barely legal teens but it wasn't porn, it was just a softcore depiction of a much hardcore reality that we don't seem to see in this film. Although the porn industry was a very big thing in the 70's these softcore sexploitation films prevailed because they had an ongoing plot that kept you there watching the whole thing, not just the sex scenes.

Thank god today, we have the wonderful guys of Impulse Pictures, for they have released the Schoolgirl Report saga from volume 1 up to volume 8, and I'm quite sure they'll soon release the latest episodes.

What can you expect from this movie? The answer is very simple: we all want to know how would it be like to enter the sexual awakening of the teenage world, so the movie is the answer itself.

The interviews look and feel very real.
Some girls kinda look like teens.
Bikini Teens.
Now let's get down to business, After the opening sequence in which one "schulmadchen" (the german term used to refer to a German high school girl) is caught having sex, concerned parents, teachers, and other students get together for a meeting, and this movie turns into a documentary with a lot of talking heads and sexual scenes, ranging from innocuous nudity to softcore groping, being acted out as "illustration". Obviously, this movie uses the old exploitation trick of pretending to morally condemn or express liberal social concern over the same lurid subject that the movie itself is cheerfully exploiting. I'm sure when this movie was showing in a German theaters, there were a lot more dirty old men in raincoats than "concerned parents" in the audience(and any concerned parents that WERE there probably would have been well-advised to wear raincoats as well). I'm also sure that the makers of this, if interviewed today, would freely admit that the moralizing was just a lot of phony-baloney to ameliorate the (obviously very stupid) censors. This theory of mine is proven in the Schoolgirl Report #2 & #3 where the sex scenes and nudity are more explicit and last longer than in the original film , so the idea of intending to warn parents about their sexually driven teens has no other purpose than feeding the fantasy of actually being into the world of dirty teens.

This movie seems pretty sordid on paper, but I actually found it strangely innocent compared to today's standards of sex movies. We still have this faux moralistic/secretly lecherous mentality today. Much of our current entertainment media, for instance, seems focused on following around under-age or just very immature young girls, morally clucking at their misdeeds while salivating over every sordid detail. And the more "legitimate" the medium and the more serious and shrill the moralizing, the more disgusting the hypocrisy. Moreover, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, etc. are real people who had no trouble in getting recorded in homemade porn movies, do drugs, get wasted and depict their pussies in public places, and yet we don't seem shocked anymore. The actresses in this movie are obviously not real "schulmadchen". They not only don't look underage, but they don't act like real women of any age--they're fantasy figures like a twenty-five-year-old stripper with fake breasts dressed in a Catholic school uniform. They belong to the world of fantasy and I guess that's pretty cool, fantasies don't harm anyone. Schoolgirl Report was not meant to be a movie for degenerate minds, degenerate minds suck and should be jailed for good.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its necessarily healthy for the media to exploit even "fantasy teens" like with this film and a thousand more that were filmed in the 70's golden era of the exploitation genre, but given how much we let REAL teenagers be exploited today. well, I just wouldn't worry about it too much.  Take the porn teen sites for instance, there are thousands of 18 years old doing porn! some on paid sites, some on free sites, some are not into porn but are into prostitution and hell, that is real and legal worldwide.

Masturbating teen.
Teen Bush.
Teen dykes & teens masturbating with teddy bears.
Overall a movie for exploitation lovers, after all the sex scenes are the core reason for making the film, the fake documentary style is just an added element to make it feel more real. Watching Schoolgirl Report #1 today is watching an innocent flick about sex, this movie is Disney's stuff compared to today's movies. Just don't expect to find yourself in a real sex movie, this is barely softcore AKA erotic.

Here's the original movie trailer for the Spanish version "Las Colegialas se Confiesan" which is the same standard international trailer only with spanish subs.

Breaking Point: Pornografisk Thriller

Original Movie Poster.
Today I have the pleasure of presenting the return of director Bo Arne Vibenius (yes, he's the one responsible for Thriller, En Grym Film) to my humble movies blog. If you enjoyed Thriller, I'm sure you will find Breaking Point, AKA Pornografisk Thriller,  an interesting tour de force flick that tries to deliver a story that has it all: psychological thriller, action and of course sex.

Back in the 70's the Swedish Erotica genre was delivering lots of films that were basically a softcore sex movie. Vibernius tried to add some real sex on his Thriller, En Grym Film masterpiece but, most of the sex scenes followed the softcore patterns and the real sex scenes were performed by porn actors and later inserted on the film as to explain the dirty job Christina Lindberg had to dealt with before her master revenge took place. However, on Breaking Point, Vibernius did manage to find actors that were ready to go all the way to get the job done, so here you won't find softcore sex, you will find real sex AKA straight porn, and if you're ok with that You will survive long enough to watch the whole movie from start to end (say, we're exploitation enthusiasts aren't we?)

French movie poster "Les Suédoises"
Real pussy.
Someone's gotta do it.
70's Beaver hairdo.
A friendly hand when you need it.
So, shoulders to the wheel! The movie is about a guy named Bob, a typical office-worker-by-day/rapist-killer-by-night who has a real strong pimp-hand. He walks right into bitches houses, says "strip", and they get to suckin' him off straight-away. No foolin' around for this guy. If he doesn't like them, he may bash them in the head with a glass ashtray. If he doesn't like his female co-worker, he may give her some coffee that's specially flavored with a bit of cum. He sits around his office day-dreaming about shagging. When he's not whacking-off, he's thinking about whacking-off. He uses a hitch-hiker's puss-juice as cologne. He even has a thing for little girls. Oh - and he has an obsessive fixation with model trains. Yup, Bob's a real whackadoo.

Teenie Car Blowjob, for real.
They don't make actresses as they used to.
Movie screen caps.
More screen caps of relevant scenes.
BREAKING POINT is a very odd film. I can't really tell how much of what happens is "real" and what is in Bob's mind. There's a bit of a sci-fi feel to it as well, as there are weird telecasts stating that it's OK to rape as long as you don't murder - and Bob gets a gun with exploding bullets, and a few other weird quirks. BREAKING POINT is going to be of interest to underground exploit enthusiasts, as the film is pretty rare, and has pretty much all of the elements that fans of this sort of thing look for - hardcore sex and a ton of nudity, a passable amount of violence, and an overall sleazy vibe. It actually feels a bit like an American-made porno "roughie", but with a bit more storyline. This film isn't also titled PORNOGRAPHIC THRILLER for no reason. Unfortunately the movie has been unavailable on DVD fo quite a while, so if you're one of those lucky bastards who find stuff on swap meets and pawn shops probably you'll make yourself with a copy of it on VHS or DVD but, if you're unlucky as most of us, there several exploitation blogs that share films online so, if  you want it, google it and that's it.

Here is a 9 minutes compillation of some of the most interesting scenes:

Until some time soon see you!

Thriller En Grym Film AKA Thriller, a Cruel Picture, They Call Her One Eye

Movie poster n°1.
After hearing all the hype about this film...the latest notorious Eurotrash cult film making the rounds...has to be seen to be believed...sex and violence, sex and violence, etc., I finally got hold of a copy of it and was almost afraid that with all the anticipation I'd just be disappointed. To add to that, the copy I got was of crappy quality as I discovered when I started watching it--the opening credits were so blurry I couldn't read them--and the whole affair started to look like nothing more than the chore necessary to get the idea of finally seeing this film out of my head.

All this apprehension disappeared quickly as I got sucked into this simple yet very engaging story. We all know it's about a chick with one eye who picks up a shotgun and exacts revenge on her abusers, another entry into a sub-genre that needs no introduction, and that's what I expected, just another entry into this sub-genre with maybe enough explicit footage to give it the aforementioned notoriety, which alone does not a good film make. What I didn't expect was the atmosphere, the occasional insight (witness an early semi-rape scene involving rape-by-camera), the genuinely creepy close-ups of leering, panting men and all the other quirks that make this such a neat little flick. There is a lot of experimental sort of storytelling in this movie, as I guess was the style of the time (early seventies), and some of it is neat and some of it is downright annoying. But the overall effect, aided in no small part by the music, and aided also by the main character's inability to speak (had to have influenced Ms. .45, which came later) as well as the fact that I don't speak Swedish and this film is neither dubbed nor subtitled, is one of being underwater in a very polluted river. And that seems perfectly appropriate, since figuratively that's the story of the protagonist's life.
Bang! you're dead fucker!.
The close-up hardcore porn footage is used to better effect than I've ever seen such footage used, as it is supposed to be disturbing and sickening (anyone who thinks about impersonal images like that when they think about real sex, the good kind, has got to be a few beers short of a case). However, it is somewhat over-used. There are some good scenes of drawn-out, methodical drug-administering, shotgun-sawing, martial arts training, etc. that give the film, at times, an edge of realism. This realism is shattered, however, by scenes of cars exploding at the slightest impact and the nails-on-a-chalkboard slow-motion shooting scenes.

However, the entire film was redeemed for me by the last couple of sequences...one scene of her walking, all clad in black with her eyepatch and shotgun, amidst some shacks by a pier was straight out of a very dark western. The whole look of the film, especially the outdoor footage, is stark and desolate. Makes me want to go to Sweden. I was not let down by the last killing...the guy deserved that and more...it's a testament to the sort of infectuous quality of this film and the surprising abilities of porn star Christina Lindberg that I cared that much and even savored what happens to this guy. I've never actually savored the film re-enactment of the torture of a human being before seeing this film. More important than that, though, were the stark landscapes and windy, desolate atmosphere of the whole last sequence. "One-eye"'s cold-as-ice serenity as she sits and waits for her macabre plan to take effect is more satisfying than any of what she's waiting for.

So, as a way of paying homage I'll try to include every detail I could find about the 1974 masterpiece, Thriller, A Cruel Picture.

This is the DVD version from which I am reviewing today.
Tarantino's Elle Driver inspiration from Frigga.
Marketed as the first Swedish film ever banned (not true as a movie called ‘The Gardener’ was in 1912) ‘Thriller: A Cruel Picture’ is just like its title suggests - an extremely cruel rape and revenge thriller that is a provocative cocktail of art house and exploitation filmmaking.
Previously little known even in its native homeland except to hardcore followers of all things grindhouse and drive-in it now has a higher profile since the turn of the century thanks to its most famous fan writer and director Quentin Tarantino. In Interviews promoting the releases of both volumes of ‘Kill Bill’ (2001 & 2002) the filmmaker sung its praises when citing ‘Thriller: A Cruel Picture’ as one of his main inspirations for the duology. The underground Swedish movie was particularly influential on the character of Elle Driver played by Daryl Hannah wearing similar attire to our heroine here - Madeleine aka One Eye played by the gorgeous sexploitation star Christina Lindberg. Hannah wore in both volumes like Lindberg an eye patch as well as a black outfit like hers in ‘Vol. 2’.

Another classic portrait from this swedish exploitation masterpiece.
Fortunately for those who weren't around in those years, or at least for those who want to get a decent copy of the movie, Synapse Films have re-released the movie in wonderful DVD format. The re-release movie it's available in two editions. The uncut edition is the "Red Limited Edition" (yeah, the one I'm reviewing) The edited edition is known as "Vengeance Edition" Some refer to the red edition as the complete version of the film, completely uncensored and the one version that adds the explicit sex scenes (two minutes or some, performed by doubles not Lindberg) so, I would say go for the red edition if you want the real thing, though the explicit sex scenes seem to have been added later to give the movie plot a more consistent meaning when it comes to the revenge issue.

The uncensored/uncut edition of the film is widely known as  "Thriller, a Cruel Picture" while the censored cut is known as the "They Call Her One Eye" film so in case you do not have it that clear, the film title will tell you which version you're watching.

The version of the film being reviewed here, it's the original uncut Swedish language version (the 107 minute uncut Limited Edition). All the action sequences that were cut from the original theatrical release are restored as well as all the scenes of hardcore pornography that are missing from the 104 minute Vengeance Edition that just maintains the action set-pieces. Both versions are available on region 1 DVD from Synapse Films.

Awesome fan art.
Another promotional poster.
To quote the tagline of ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 1’ the film it inspired ‘Thriller: A Cruel Picture’ will be a slow burn for anyone looking for A roaring rampage of revenge”. Frigga (or Madeleine depending on which version you're watching) does not start dealing out the pain on the scum until about the hour mark. However, it sure is worth the wait as writer and director Bo Arne Vibenius subjects us to the cruel nature of this movie. Our poor victim/protagonist is violated in all the unspeakable manners described in the synopsis. It just makes it even more satisfying when it finally gets to the third act.

Bo A. Vibenius who wrote the script for the film, had a masterstroke casting Christina Lindberg in the lead role as our luckless heroine. Beautifully innocent looking with a slim slight tiny body she is completely vulnerable. The writer and director also made her character a mute to escalate that vulnerability; completely robbed of speech she is even more helpless. We can do nothing but sympathize with her and we cannot take our eyes off the mesmerizing Lindberg. However, her role is the complete opposite of most of her films where she's depicted as a nymphomaniac who's always looking for a sexual adventure.

When we see her training to fight back, we are really rooting for her. When she finally takes her revenge without mercy, we are cheering her on with our fists in the air. Hopf is also convincingly excellent as the scumbag pimp Tony and we long for him to get his comeuppance.

Frigga, on her classic shots.
Another promotional poster.
As above mentioned, the footage of hardcore pornography used in the "Red Edition" is not remotely erotically raunchy as it is there to show the vileness of Madeline’s tragic ordeal as her body is used against her will. Forced to sell her body or die from heroin withdrawal constitutes forcible penetration not consensual sex. The shots are inserts of clips filmed elsewhere by body doubles and I am not going to beat around the bush here (excuse me) as the genitalia on display is so unattractive it is cringe making. Nevertheless, the porn inserts do help people understand Frigga is not a nymphomaniac slut who rejoices whenever she gets to swallow a sticky cum load. Actually, she's more like a victim who's relying on her forced work talents to get what she really wants: revenge.

Bo Arne Vibenius also employs an excessive amount of slower than slow motion when it comes to the action sequences. On my first viewing I just found this annoying, but going back, I sat up and took into account the visceral intensity on display here. Vibenius prolongs our experiences in the sheer brutality of the violence stretching it out to show us the grim nature of Madeline’s revenge. We have been patiently waiting a good hour for it having to witness the horrific plight of this poor little farm girl. Now satisfyingly that patience has paid off as she has turned into an arse kicking vengeance machine and we drown in the shower of delights of seeing these awful human beings that caused her misery get what they unquestionably deserve in glorious long spells of time.

And so begins the one eyed revenge.
Forced to be a hooker.
The film does have its plot holes. Traumatized by her rape as a child why would Madeline get into a stranger’s car considering her state of mind? Why does Tony give her Monday’s off when he has gone out of his way to abduct her, get her hooked on heroin and forced her into prostitution? Although the martial arts training is feasible when it comes to her lessons in the dojo, when she is kicked out by her instructor when he catches her about to take a fix of heroin how does she have the connections to get training from the military in hand to hand combat? How does she get an army officer to train her in rifle shooting before that? In addition, how does she find a stunt driver to give her driving lessons? Saying all this though, these scenes are entertaining and Tony’s freeing of Madeline one day a week only serve the purpose as a plot point to get her quest of revenge off to a start. There would not be much of a revenge movie otherwise.

Something that does not sit well with me is the execution of the scene of Madeline losing her eye. Used for the extreme close-up shot of the scalpel going into the eye was the real corpse of a recently deceased girl who had committed suicide. Filmed in the hospital keeping the body applied to the eye was makeup before the scalpel went in. All this confirmed by Christina Lindberg. Bo Arne Vibenius has a stylistic eye and employs a lot of strange art house cinematography throughout with the odd choices of POV shots and off beat camera angles and beautifully shot Swedish landscapes mixed in with all the gratuitous exploitation shots. Therefore, is this purpose of execution striving for great art or just vulgar sensationalism? Either way I find it to be in very bad taste as it is disrespectful to the poor young girl who tragically took her own life and to her grieving loved ones.

Her only friend.
She was even forced to serve for Dykes.
Thriller, a Cruel Picture is a one of a kind film. There are many rape/revenge films out there but this one has a taste for crafted cinematography. If someone was to be introduced to Christina Lindberg, this would be the go to film. If someone was to be introduced to European sexploitation genre, this would be the go to film. If someone was to be introduced to a graphic revenge film, beautifully executed, this would be the go to film. If someone was to be introduced to Christina Lindberg's best film, yep, this would be the one movie to pick.

Christina Lindberg filmography is comprised of approximately 24 films. Most of them weren't as intense as this one. In fact, most of her roles were that of a young swedish girl looking to get laid while looking innocent. Also, she posed naked for many magazines, since her undeniable beauty was something she wasn't afraid of sharing she became the ultimate Swedish sex starlet although she never did porn (she quit filming Flossie when she was told there would be hardcore scenes. After a while, Lindberg grew tired of her over sexualized image and decided to move on to something else)

Suffering the unbearable.
Exhausted after a working shift.
Anyways, Christina  Lindberg's legacy as a sexploitation starlet lingers on and the growing fandom (thanks to the internet for that) will keep her amongst the biggest exploitation stars of all times. Now, all we're left to do is hope for a DVD/Blu Ray release of the films that still haven't become officially available: her actual debut Rotmanad, Sex At The Olympics, Young Playthings and many other sexploitation films where she had minor but significant roles.

Here's the official movie trailer:
