The greatest french Gal ever. |
Today we'll premiere a new category in your humble cult related stuff blog. Enter the new category known from now on as "Gals" a small but consistent tribute to the hottest big screen ladies around. Of course, ladies worth of such category are those who like to get naked and do their sexy part in the movies they have participated. Today's number 1 lady will not be a girl from any of the films I have previously reviewed, so it is a fresh newcomer. Gentlemen, please welcome Brigitte Bardott, my favorite french maiden.
I'm in the mood for some french kissing. |
In case you don't know who this lady is, this small wikipedia fragment will teach you well:
"Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot;
born 28 September 1934) is a controversial former French fashion model,
actress, singer and animal rights activist. She was one of the
best-known sex symbols of the 1960s. Starting in 1969, Bardot's features became the official face of Marianne (who had previously been anonymous) to represent the liberty of France.
She wasn't afraid of showing off what she had. |
Some twat! |
Bardot was an aspiring ballet
dancer in early life. She started her acting career in 1952 and, after
appearing in 16 films, became world-famous due to her role in her
then-husband Roger Vadim's controversial film And God Created Woman. She later starred in Jean-Luc Godard's 1963 cult film, Contempt. Bardot was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Actress for her role in Louis Malle's 1965 film, Viva Maria!. Bardot caught the attention of French intellectuals. She was the subject of Simone de Beauvoir's 1959 essay, The Lolita Syndrome, which described Bardot as a "locomotive of women's history" and built upon existentialist themes to declare her the first and most liberated woman of post-war France.
Nice landscape. |
Bardot retired from the entertainment industry in 1973. During her career in show business, Bardot starred in 47 films, performed in numerous musical shows, and recorded 80 songs. She was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1985 but refused to receive it.[5] After her retirement, Bardot established herself as an animal rights activist. During the 1990s she generated controversy by criticizing immigration, Islamization and Islam in France, and has been fined five times for "inciting racial hatred".
Sexy symbol is written with BB. |
Although she never managed to star a master piece movie, her films had quite a fair acceptance among movie goers of her time. Anyways, She's larger than any of the characters she portrayed in the big screen, and that's why she's fucking loved everywhere around the globe, she had that 60's/70's beauty we all love so much and just like many actresses of her time, we didn't really care for the movie quality, we just got the kicks watching this astonishing godesses.
Here a video tribute some guy made with pictures of BB and music specially composed to pay homage to her hot body:
