Police Women

Original movie poster.
Today's review, as stated by a far greater movie reviewer (my wife) will be a blast of action, exploitation, 70's fashion and an easy to follow plot.

Police Women, a 1974 movie released by the wonderful Crown International Pictures, is not about a lot of police women, instead we get to see a single police woman fighting her way on a special secret mission that would bring to pieces a girl gang organization that sends and receives gold shipments from the black market.

Lacy Bond (a lazy james bond?) is a super woman, a super cop, red headed and skilful in martial arts, car driving and shooting big guns. All of these amazing characteristics make her the perfect cop to stop the girl gang with little help from a couple of private eyes who act and look like complete idiots.

Another movie poster.
The promising opening titles.
Lacy Bond.
The great escape opening scenes.
After a couple of very bad bitches escape from prison, Lacy is set to find traces of the girl gang above mentioned. All that police knows about the organization is that they live in a big mansion that is run by some tough old lady and his husband. Of course they're not alone, they have a huge collection of criminal girls willing to do what it takes to screw the police and get the benjamins from illegal activities.

N°1 gang girl death.
I ran this business like hell.
Old Lady number one guy.
Gang Girl Action.
More gang girl action.
Gang girls getting ready for action.
So, after a while Lacy Bond, uses martial arts skills against the girl gang, and is later joined by undercover agent Pam Harris (Jeanie Bell) to help her take down the bad girl mob.The guys are generally pretty unimportant in this movie.Tony Young,as Lacy's boss and partner is reduced to a hapless sidekick, muttering his disapproval when he thinks she is putting herself in danger(and at one point having to be rescued by our heroine from some murderous babes who are beating him to death!).Only Phil Hoover, playing a funny and pretty vicious villain, and the great William Smith, sending himself up in a cameo as a patronizing police fight instructor, really register among the male cast.

Our babe falls in love.
Ready for some sex action.
Ah! exploitation!
Her greatest fight scene haha.
After some cum ,a hot dog is welcomed.
This cheap but entertaining movie contains all the elements expected from Lee Frost's "drive-in" fare, some sex and nudity, scantily clad girls, and lots of action.Fans of female fighting in movies should like the scenes where Lacy and Pam use judo and karate battling the female villains-such as tough con Janette and bikini bimbo thugs Caroline and her gang.

The final battle.
Hurricane Kick!
Fight!

Overall a great, great movie a true exploitation classic. Go and get it boy!
